 AACFCU Donates $20,000 to Fort Rucker's AER

On Monday, May 24, 2010, AACFCU presented a check for $20,000 to Fort Rucker's Army Emergency Relief (AER).
Army Emergency Relief provides financial assistance to soldiers and their families in times of need. Funds may be used for things such as groceries, bills or even medical expenses that other programs will not cover.

As a long-time supporter of our military, AACFCU held its annual golf tournament at Silver Wings Golf Course at Ft. Rucker, Ala. to help raise donations for the organization. During its 2010 fundraising campaign, AER raised more than $137,000 to help area soldiers.

Army Aviation Center Federal Credit Union Scholarship's Awarded

Congratulations to the 2010 Army Aviation Center Federal Credit Union Scholarship Winners!  We were delighted with the number of students throughout the area who applied for the scholarship.  We were also extremely impressed with the high caliber of applicants, which made the selection process particularly difficult. 

Ultimately, however, our scholarship committee had to make its final selections. We appreciate the time and effort ALL of our applicants gave the process.

AACFCU 26th Annual Car, Truck, Boat & RV Sale

Army Aviation Center Federal Credit Union (AACFCU) celebrated the opening of its 26th Annual Car, Truck, Boat and RV Sale with a ribbon cutting in Daleville, Ala. on Friday, April 30, 2010.

Fourteen Wiregrass dealers brought their inventory to Culpepper Park in Daleville for the two-day event. While vehicle, boat and RV dealers offered special pricing at the Credit Union sale, AACFCU offered limited-time, low-rate financing offers for purchases made from on-site dealers.
Special financing rates from the Credit Union sale have been extended until May 31st. Now, AACFCU members who weren't able to come to the sale can still take advantage of this limited-time offer. For more information on our low loan rates, click here.

Shared Branching at Troy Location

Army Aviation Center Federal Credit Union now offers shared branching services at its Troy, Ala. location.  This means a credit union member, from across the U.S. or worldwide, who is in the local area and is a member of another credit union that is part of the shared branching network, can transact business at AACFCU.  If the member's primary credit union is a member of the shared branching network, then AACFCU can handle deposits and withdrawals of money as if the member were at his own credit union.

AACFCU members also have access to their accounts at more than 4,000 shared service centers throughout the U.S. and in 6 foreign countries.
