What's new at Army Aviation Center Federal Credit Union

First Step Credit Union at Windham Elementary School
Army Aviation Center Federal Credit Union (AACFCU) and A.M. Windham Elementary School in Daleville, Ala., kicked of the second year of First Step Credit Union in August. Students, faculty and staff from Windham Elementary and AACFCU were also featured on local television stations. WDHN and WTVY helped celebrate the 2nd year opening of First Step Credit Union on their news shows and on WTVY's Live at Lunch show.
First Step Credit Union is an onsite student credit union at the elementary school. Through the Credit Union, students can open Kirby Kangaroo Savings accounts, accounts specifically designed for children 12 years old and under. Every Friday morning, Windham Elementary students visit First Step Credit Union to deposit money into their accounts. Students may bring in as little or as much money as they want and are provided with incentives to save more money.

43rd Anniversary
In August, Army Aviation Center Federal Credit Union marked its 43rd anniversary! Since its opening in Ft. Rucker, Ala., AACFCU has grown to serve more than 105,000 members worldwide! AACFCU began with just a $35 deposit by its seven original members. The original members saw a need to provide quality, cost-efficient financial services to the soldiers stationed at Ft. Rucker. From there, AACFCU has expanded to its corporate office in Daleville, and branches in Enterprise, Dothan, Ozark, Troy, and Mobile and even to Florida in Santa Rosa Beach, Destin and DeFuniak Springs. We thank our members for their continued loyalty and trust in AACFCU and the quality services we offer!
